At Longmeadow we believe in providing a secure foundation for future learning and development for our children. Our EYFS curriculum allows children to develop interpersonal skills, an understanding of daily school routines and school values and how to be ready to learn. We aim to provide motivating first-hand experiences whilst encouraging children to build resilience, ambition and a lifelong love of learning that enables each individual to flourish.   

Systematic Phonics is introduced in Nursery, using the Little Wandle SSP, and is taught daily in EYFS. Targeted   intervention sessions ensure that all children reach KS1 ready to read and learn.
